See For Yourself

Find the piano that fits your life.

From your first walk-through to the day it lands in your living room. Here's what choosing a piano with us actually looks like.

Behind The Pianos

See the craft behind our pianos.

Twenty minutes from the showroom, our 25,000 sq ft restoration center is home to 25 craftsmen, including former Steinway technicians, who rebuild every piano by hand. Soundboards replaced, actions regulated, finishes refreshed, every piece touched before it reaches the floor.

This is why the piano you choose plays the way it does. Todd can walk you through the work on any specific instrument, and tours are welcome whenever you want to see it in person.

How Your Piano Gets Here

Why the piano you choose plays better.

The Largest Purchaser of Steinways

The Largest Purchaser of Steinways

We acquire and restore more than 150 Steinways every year, more than any other dealer in the country. That volume lets us curate, not just stock. Not every piano we buy makes it to the showroom floor. Our team has the experience to assess each instrument and bring it to its optimal playing condition, so what you see here is the best of what we sourced.

The Kawai Partnership

The Kawai Partnership

Two family-run businesses, aligned on craft. Kawai is known for innovation and craftsmanship, which lets us offer a compelling variety of world-class options for any piano buyer. Our craftsmen tune, voice, and regulate every Kawai before it reaches the floor, so each one performs and plays at its best.

01

Independent & Family-Run

A curated Steinway selection ready now or ready to design at any given time, with options for any Steinway enthusiast.

03

Exclusive Kawai Partner

The only showroom in northern New Jersey, Manhattan, and upstate New York carrying the full Kawai line, factory-direct.

04

Most Experienced Team in the Country

Master craftsmen with decades on the bench, several of them former Steinway craftsmen. Every action regulated, every soundboard inspected, by hand.

Customer Stories

What our customers say.

5.0 · Based on 430+ Google reviews
Verified customer

“You were responsive. You listened to what our needs were. You've been extraordinarily generous, and in the end, you delivered the pianos that we so desperately needed.”

Verified customer

“I'm probably a difficult client because I'm a Steinway artist and concert pianist — you offered a guarantee that if I didn't like the piano, you'd take it back. There was no risk in making this purchase.”

Verified customer

“I was worried that when we got down to Lindeblad's, we were going to say, oh, that new piano was so much better. But the reality was that all the pianists felt, like I did, that this piano had a lot more depth and was just actually far superior to the brand new piano.”

Our Commitment

Peace of mind, by design.

Every piano leaves our floor with the same five protections, because a piano is a fifty-year decision, not a fifty-minute one.

Common Questions

Frequently asked.

Don't see your question? Call us any time at 888.587.4266.

Yes. The standing offer is 0% APR for 18 months, and longer terms are available if you would rather spread it further. Todd can show you the monthly number on any piano you are considering before you commit to anything, so the price is never a surprise later.

Around 80 pianos sit on the floor ready to play, so you can compare a pre-owned Yamaha, a restored Steinway, a pre-owned Steinway, a new Kawai with a carbon fiber action and a digital piano all side by side in a single visit. Our own craftsmen, several of them former Steinway technicians, prepare and assess every one, so the condition of each is known in detail rather than guessed at. Whichever you choose leaves with a 30-day money-back guarantee, warranty coverage, a lifetime trade-in, free nationwide delivery and complimentary tuning.

No. Todd Lindeblad works out what suits your room, your budget, and how you play, then narrows the floor to a short list either way. If you do come, the showroom is by appointment, so those pianos are tuned and ready when you arrive and you can compare them side by side.

By car: forty minutes from midtown Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel and Route 46, with parking available at our showroom. By bus: NJ Transit from Port Authority to Willowbrook Mall, then an Uber Premier (on us) for the ten-minute drive to the showroom. By train: NJ Transit to Mountain Lakes, then an Uber Premier (on us) for the final fifteen minutes.

New digital pianos start at $1,500 and uprights start at $6,200. Used and pre-owned grand pianos start at around $10,000, and new Kawai grands start at $17,800. Pre-owned and restored Steinway grands range from $38,000 to six figures depending on model, finish, style, and whether the piano is custom-restored.

Yes. Free white-glove delivery is included on every piano, nationwide, and we have shipped to thirteen other countries on top of that. Every move is handled by piano-moving experts using specialized equipment and climate-controlled trucks, and the move is fully insured from the showroom to your home.

Yes. Send a few photos, along with the brand and model, and we can provide a written trade-in estimate before your visit. Every piano purchased from Lindeblad also includes a Lifetime Trade-Up Guarantee, so 100% of what you paid can be applied toward a qualifying future instrument.

You have 30 days from delivery to return the piano for a full refund, no questions asked. Every restored piano is also covered by a 20-year warranty, longer than what Steinway offers on a new instrument. The lifetime trade-up guarantee means you are never locked in: if your taste or your space changes, the piano can come back to us at full credit toward another.
